Transactions

A transaction is any money that moved for a property: rent that arrived, or a bill you paid. The sign tells them apart. A positive amount is money in, a negative amount is money out.

Add a transaction

  1. 1

Open the property’s Transactions tab and click Add Transaction.

  2. 2

Say what the money was for, then the currency and the amount: positive for rent or anything else received, negative for a bill you paid.

  3. 3

Set the date the money moved, and add tags such as rent or maintenance.

  4. 4

Under Document, upload the receipt or invoice, or pick one already among the property’s documents.

  5. 5

    Click Save Changes.

The list of transactions

Money in shows in green and money out in red, with its tags, and a document button when a receipt is attached. Search by reason, or filter by date, amount, tags and whether money in has been fully allocated. Click a transaction to see where its money went, edit it or delete it.
