Utilities and meter readings

A utility is a meter: electricity, gas, water, heating. You note what the dial shows every so often, and Kelid works out what was used in between, in total and per day.

Add a meter

Open the property’s Utilities tab and click Add Utility. Give the meter a name, the unit it counts in (pick kWh, m³, L or GJ, or type the one on your bill) and, if useful, where it is or which supplier reads it.

Enter a reading

Select the meter and click Add Reading. Type the number the meter shows, not the difference since last time, and the day it was read. The form shows the previous reading so you can check before saving.

Read the consumption

The chart shows what the meter said over time, for this year, last year or all time. Below it, every reading lists what was used since the one before, the number of days in between and the average per day.
